The Beaches is a young beach area that is very active with the younger crowd and is paralleled by a boardwalk for walking. This beach is just east of the downtown Toronto area. Topless bathing is accepted but it would be nice to see more women take advantage of their rights. Both my wife and I have noticed that if one or two women start to remove their tops in a area where a mixed crowd is sunbathing then usually other women will follow suit especially if they are with their partners or a bunch of girlfriends. This beach sports a younger crowd so it usually takes a more open minded and braver woman to start things off.
