Over the past few years, without hassle, my sister, best friend, and I have subtlety layed out topless at the stretch of beach from Pratt Ave. to Touhy Ave., and on occasion done so at the beaches at Jarvis, as well as along East Lake Terrance. We have noticed more and more women sunning topfree in these areas, even some older mom types, but mostly summer students from Loyola and Northwestern U. Everyone seems conscientious when tanning topless and I've NEVER noticed anyone walking around or even sitting up without a top.

I have gone topfree at Belmont Rocks near Belmont Avenue (3200 N.) near Lake Michigan in Lincoln Park on several occasions. The area is also seems popular with gay men who won't bother you. You must use the lower rocks to be discreet.
