I went topfree for the first time in my life on the Greek island of Corfu. I found it extremely liberating and only felt inhibited when an American male was in the vicinity. I don't think I'd be comfortable being topfree around people that I knew - other than my husband but I actually loved being topfree. Most of the women on the beaches of Agios Gordios were also topfree. The shocking part of the experience was the lack of "beautiful bodies" around. Most women were middle aged or older, out of shape, overweight Europeans. In my mind that was the height of body liberation.
