Last summer my husband, Pat, and I went camping with our best friends, Kim & Jamie, at Luna-White deer campground. Luna-White deer campground is east of Eagle River WI, and west of US 55. We got there on a warm Sunday afternoon, and stayed until Wednesday. After we had set up camp, and were sitting around the campfire, our husbands said that if we were brave enough to go topless, they would do all the cooking for our camping trip. Well, Kim and I looked at each other and asked them to repeat what they had said. They repeated that if we would go topless in the campgrounds, they would do all the cooking for our trip. Kim and I had previously talked about trying topfree sunbathing while we were up here, because my sister in law, Maria, said she has done it. We did not expect such a positive response from our husbands. Needless to say, we took off our tops right there in front of the fire. I felt a little shy, because Jamie had never seen me without a top on, and Kim told me she was a little worried about being topfree in front of Pat. But everything was cool. The biggest problem we had with being topfree was with the mosquitoes! We had no problems with anyone, although one couple left the beach when we got there, but they might have been leaving anyway. Maria said that the campground is on Federal land, and that is part of the reason why we can be topfree there. The 4 of us are already planning to return to the Eagle River area next summer for more topfree camping.

My husband & I also go to the Eagle River area camping. I have frequently gone topfree, and my husband has worn his thong, and no one has hassled us. In Wisconsin, being topfree is not against the law, and I wish more women would be aware of that fact.

When we go camping in the Eagle River area of Wisconsin, my wife frequently goes topfree, and no one has ever said anything negative to us.
