Absolutely no hassle at Jones Beach! Some friends and I spent the afternoon there and it was perfectly comfortable to be sunbathing topfree. Upon our arrival we scoped out a spot in an area where there already was one woman sunbathing topfree within a small group people. A friend and myself felt just fine and laid-out all day topfree as well. We were not bothered really, just the occasional solo older man passing a bit close, or a second glance from other male beach-goers -but absolutely no one gawking. We did not feel self-conscious or on the defense. Generally where we were the beach-goers were a younger hipper crowd and it felt comfortable. So, check it out for yourself and have a beautiful day!

Just to let everyone know that Jones Beach on Long Island is definitely friendly to topfree women. My friends and I go a few times a week, and see more and more topfree women on every visit. There's no specific area, but the further east you walk the more numerous bare breasted women you'll see. The police and rangers are very friendly, so single women topfree will not feel uncomfortable. If you're on Long Island and want to enjoy the feeling of being topfree in a safe and fun area, Jones Beach is for you!
