My husband was transferred from Houston to South Carolina in May. We made our first trip to the beach (Myrtle Beach) in June. For the last ten plus years I have been wearing G-strings and going topfree on Surfside Beach and Galveston without any problems. When we went to Myrtle Beach, we picked out a place away from the crowds and were ready to get some sun. I pulled off my shorts and T-shirt just keeping my G-string on like I always do (I have not owned a top in years) and layed down with my book. Within 15 minutes we were surprised when a lifeguard told me I was breaking the law and would be arrested if I did not cover my breast and butt! When questioned, he said thongs, G-strings, and being topfree was against the law everywhere in South Carolina. We just packed up and went home. If I can't be topfree and wear my G-string than I just see no reason to go to the beach.
