I thought I'd clarify a statement that appears in the information section, NY, on your site. Although case law regarding one particular case of beach topfreedom did not support an arrest, and that enforcment directives favor topfreedom on State-owned beaches, the statute still exists. NY still has statutory law that should be eliminated.

Briefly, the NYS court of appeals did not uphold the arrest of a woman demonstrator who was charged with the existing law. The reason was that her intent was not lewd and just two justices concurred that the law was discriminatory. Although topfreedom is accepted in NY, a different arrest and appeal could have a different outcome.

Your site would not be complete without a word about topfree beaches in New York State. It is entirely legal for a woman to go without a top in New York. Laws restricting such behavior were struck down a few years ago.
