Last summer Steve and I learned from Sue and Bob about Parson's Beach. I was comfortable tanning topfree. We then decided to walk the beach and did so without any hassles nor stares and saw other topfree tanning, dipping, and walking. We plan to return this summer.

Update RE: Parson's Beach. A very good summer! We counted 119 topfree visitors in a comfortable progressive, no-hassles environment.

To get to Parson's Beach, Maine, take Turnpike 95 North Exit 2 to RT1 Wells, Right on Route 9, 3 miles to Right on Parson's Road.

Beth, Cathy and I went topfree with no stares or hassles. A very comfortable environment. A police officer indicated topfree is legal. We tanned and walked the beach but we did use common sense and allowed small children some space. Limited parking - about 45 spaces. Arrive before 10:00AM on weekdays or by 9:00AM on weekends.
