I went to Gran Ventana, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic last year with my husband. I noticed that most of the women were topless but was a little shy myself. I had gone topless in the UK before but felt that men were staring as I'm slim but busty.

I tried topless on day 2 and felt very relaxed, I was happy to swim up to the pool bar topless without being stared at as there must have been about 20 other topless women at any time. By the end of two weeks I had even done water aerobics and volleyball on the beach. No need to even pack my top next time...very liberating!!
