Recently my wife and I went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We were there over Carnival and were quite disappointed to find that very few people were topfree on the beach. In the 10 days we were there, I only counted 8 women who were topfree on Ipanema Beach. Those who were topfree were not hassled by anyone that I could see. Thongs are quite common on the beaches.
