It might be of interest to know that Smith Point, at Mastic Beach, Long Island, New York is a very popular beach for women to roam topless. I know women who were very comfortable there going topless, and have recommended it to other women. It's quite a drive from New York City, but worth the comfort it offers. Walk east to get away from the crowd, and it's even better. Sometimes young teenagers are there to see the sights but they don't hassle anyone.
