Sunday River in Newry ME is a great place to shed our tops. I go up and shed my top and walk around the area and stay completely topfree. There are other women that are comfortable this way that I have met. I have seen and spoken with the wardens and they have advised that it is OK for women to go topfree. Weekdays you will usually find that you can have the whole place to yourself. Weekends it can be rather busy, but there are so many spaces to be and enjoy that that is no problem.

Directions: Coming from Portland, Lewiston/Auburn area. Take route 26 north into Bethel. Turn left off route 26 at the turn to Sunday River Resort as if going to Sunday River Resort. Follow the signs for the Covered Bridge. Once you go past the Covered bridge stay straight on the tar road till you come to the end of the tar. The road now splits. Go straight ahead on the dirt for about 1 mile, You will see 2 small twin bridges on you left. Cross them and you are there. Go left and park to take a path to a beautiful area to tan. Or go straight till you see a bridge on your left with a gate. Park and go enjoy the beautiful river. Or turn right and go 1\2 mile and there is another spot and another 1\2 mile you will find a great location to enjoy the water. About another 1\2 mile up and there is a hiking trail which takes you to the top of the mountain and back, a distance of about 10 miles.
