I just returned from a weekend in Wildwood. We were there for the big Harley Davidson convention. As in a past report I submitted I once again tanned topless on the beach both Saturday and Sunday. There is an area on the beach just thru the beach entrance by the Armada hotel, off to your right at the base of the dune where I have gone for the last three years mostly in September and October and have not had no problems whatsoever. I am off to the side away from the crowds and have had the beach patrol pass numerous times with just a smile and continue on. Evidently no one has complained to any authorities as I am in view of people leaving the beach. When I need to cool off I just put on top and walk to the water, I receive many a look doing this as I only own thongs and I have only seen about a dozen in Wildwood in the last three years. I have read some of your reports on people who have been to Wildwood in the months of July and August and have not had a problem, I only visit during May, Sept, and Oct, but its good to see people during the busy season have not had a problem; sometimes it just takes a little discretion.

Regarding going topfree in New Jersey, Wildwood is not one town, but three different municipalities. There is North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest. Each has their own Police and Beach Patrol. Most are okay about discrete topfreedom as the beach is so big, but be careful.

We just spent 5 days at Wildwood, New Jersey. During that time I decided to try topfree on the beach. We found a spot where there were fewer people and I removed my top. Some people walked by now and then, but didn't comment. The beach patrol drove by, but didn't comment. And even two lifeguards walked by without saying anything. So for the next three days I went topfree while tanning. No one ever made a comment or remark, even though I was in sight of the public. I also noticed a few girls with thong bikinis on. It seems Wildwood is becoming a more relaxed area for topfreedom.

I just visited Wildwood, New Jersey on the second weekend in September 2000 and the first and third weekends in October 2000. Being it was the off season, I found a few locations a little off on my own with my husband. I removed my top on all occasions tanning both my front and back. On the weekend on my first trip I received a few looks on Saturday but no one bothered me. On Sunday, after spending almost the entire day tanning until about 3PM, I was approached by the beach patrol. He asked if I would kindly tan my back and not my front but I could return on Monday when the beach patrol finished for the year. On my October visits I tanned topfree on both occasions without any problems whatsoever. Only had to deal with one man with a zoom lens that come so close we could have shook hands. On numerous occasions the Wildwood Crest police who patrolled the water's edge would pass and his only reaction was to smile and continue on.

My husband and I were recently on a trip to Wildwood, NJ. Literature we had acquired prior to the trip said nothing about being topfree on the beaches there. But, because the beach was so large, I decided to pick out a spot that wasn't as populated and try for a topfree tan. Well, we were there for about half an hour and a few other couples sat down around us to tan. After a few minutes those girls were removing their tops also. There were five of us topfree when the beach patrol pulled up. They told us that we could remain topfree as long as no complaints were received. Our vacation took us to the beach five days in a row, and each day I was topfree and we managed to have a few other girls join me. And never did we experience retaliation from the beach patrol or authorities. We weren't causing any problems, so they simply just let us tan topfree.
